Hisense 1.5 Ton Smart Comfort AC AS-18CW4RXSKF00AU is a wall-mounted split unit built for a 120–160 sq ft bedroom or a small office room. It delivers 18000 BTU/h (5275 W) of cooling, so a room that has been baking under the afternoon sun comes down to a comfortable temperature quickly.

One thing worth being plain about: this Hisense Smart Comfort AC uses a rotary compressor that runs at a fixed speed. It is a 1.5 Ton Non Inverter AC, not an inverter model. The compressor switches fully off when the room reaches the set temperature and starts again at full speed when it drifts up. For a few hours of use each day that is perfectly economical, but if you run cooling all night, an inverter model will show a smaller electricity bill. Rated input power is 1675 W at 7.90 A and the EER is 3.15.

The cooling circuit uses a copper tube evaporator and a copper tube condenser, both with golden hydrophilic fin, which helps the coils resist corrosion in humid, dusty and salt-laden air. Important Usage Instructions

• Have the indoor and outdoor units fitted by a trained technician and keep the connecting pipe run within 4 metres.
• Keep doors and windows closed while cooling, and set the temperature between 24°C and 26°C for the lowest running cost.
• Wash the PP filter every two to three weeks during summer; a clogged filter cuts airflow and raises power draw.
• Leave clear space around the outdoor unit so hot air can escape, and keep it out of standing water.
• Use sleep operation at night and the 24 hour timer so the unit is not left running in an empty room.
