The Kiam Heavy Dry Iron is model ES-535 from Kiam, made for everyday pressing at home. Its ceramic soleplate slides over cloth smoothly, so creases flatten out without dragging the fabric.

This ceramic soleplate iron gives you 6 temperature settings, so you can dial the heat down for thin fabrics and up for heavy cotton straight from the knob.

On the safety side it has overheat protection, and an automatic indicator light tells you when the plate is heating and when it has reached the temperature you set. The swivel cord keeps the wire from twisting while you move the iron around the board.

Important Usage Instructions

Match the temperature setting to the fabric and start from the lowest setting for delicate cloth.
Unplug the iron and let it cool fully before you store it.
Wipe the soleplate with a soft damp cloth only when it is cold; never scrape it with a metal tool.
Do not rest the iron face-down on the board while it is switched on.
Keep the cord away from the hot soleplate and pull the plug, not the cord, from the socket.
