Uniview UAC-B112-F40 Bullet Analog Camera

The Uniview UAC-B112-F40 Bullet Analog Camera is a 2 megapixel fixed bullet camera with a 1/3-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor and a 4.0 mm M12 lens. It records 1080P (1920 × 1080) video and is aimed at a single fixed view — a gate, a lane, a staircase or the front of a shop.

The practical advantage of this 2MP Bullet Camera is that it fits systems people already own. It supports TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS through a single BNC output, so an existing DVR or XVR usually accepts it without being replaced. There is no memory card slot in the camera, so recordings are stored on the hard disk inside the DVR or XVR, and power comes from a separate DC 12V adapter rather than over the video cable.

At night one IR illuminator lights the scene to 20 metres, and an IR-cut filter with automatic switching gives colour images in daylight and black-and-white images after dark. Minimum illumination is 0.02 lux at F2.0 with AGC on, and 0 lux with the infrared on. Four exposure modes — Global, BLC, HLC and DWDR — plus 2D digital noise reduction and Smart IR help with backlit doorways and headlight glare, and the picture can be flipped 180° horizontally or vertically for upside-down mounting.

Outdoors, this IP67 Bullet Camera is sealed against dust and water and carries 4 KV surge protection, so it can sit on an exposed wall through the rainy season. It is a fixed camera, not a motorised one, so it keeps watching only the direction you aim it. As a TVI AHD CVI CVBS Camera it draws a maximum of 2.88 W, weighs 135 g, measures 142 × 63 × 65 mm and ships with a 3D bracket for surface mounting; the OSD menu is available in 11 languages. Any standard analog recorder that handles 1080P signals will work with this Uniview Analog Camera.

Important Usage Instructions

• Match the recorder to the camera signal — set the DVR/XVR channel to TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS as required.
• Run a separate DC 12V supply to the camera; the BNC cable carries video only, not power.
• Mount it 2.5–3 metres high, angled slightly down, so faces fall inside the fixed field of view.
• Keep the lens glass clean — dust in front of the infrared reflects light back and washes out night footage.
• Weatherproof the cable joint in a junction box; the camera body is IP67 but the connectors are not.
