Vision Rice Cooker 2.8 L REL-Prime (Double Pot) Red

The Vision Rice Cooker 2.8 L REL-Prime (Double Pot) Red is a 2.8-litre drum-shaped double-pot rice cooker rated at 1000 W, 220 V – 50 Hz. It pairs a stainless steel pot with an aluminium pot and comes with a steel steamer.

Double pot with a built-in thermostat

The two inner pots (one stainless steel, one aluminium) let you cook rice in one and curry or dal in the other. A built-in thermostat holds heat at a precise and uniform level, and Vision states that 1000 W is enough to cook rice in 15–20 minutes. The inner pot has a 1.2 mm actual non-stick coating.

Build and everyday use

The body is MS (mild steel) with a magnetic switch and thermostat, and the base board is silver. The glass lid has a two-hole design with a 6–6.5 mm plastic handle, and the steel steamer also has a plastic handle. The heating element is coated, so it stays easy to clean and anti-dirty. Warm mode has antibacterial action, as stated by Vision.
