Important Usage Instructions

• Never fill the cooker beyond two-thirds of its 5.5 litre capacity, and keep at least the minimum water needed to build steam.
• Check that the gasket, safety valve and pressure releasing valve are clean and correctly fitted before every use.
• Let the pressure drop fully on its own before opening the cover lid; never force the lid open.
• Match the flame or hob size to the base so heat stays under the pot, and hold only the Bakelite handle while moving it.
• Wash the body and lid with a soft sponge and mild detergent, dry them well, and replace the gasket when it hardens or leaks.
