Vision Light Weight Electric Iron 1000W VIS-DEI-009 Blue

The Vision Light Weight Electric Iron 1000W VIS-DEI-009 Blue weighs around 550 grams, and that number is the whole point of the model. A half-kilo iron is the one you can keep in a hostel room or a suitcase, lift with one hand, and run over a collar and cuffs before heading out without your wrist complaining.

The sole plate uses a Non-Stick Sole Plate coating, so the face glides across fabric instead of catching on it. Temperature is set by thermostat, which lets you drop the heat for synthetics and chiffon and raise it for cotton, and the unit runs at 1000 W on a 220 V, 50 Hz supply.

Vision lists overheat protection for this Vision Light Weight Electric Iron. It is worth being straight about the trade-off that comes with the weight: a light iron brings less pressure of its own than a 1.5 kg model, so thick cotton or denim may need an extra pass or two. For everyday shirts, kurtas, dupattas and school uniforms, that is a fair exchange for how easy it is to handle.

Anyone choosing a Vision Electric Iron 1000W for daily use is usually weighing handling, plate finish and heat control. VIS-DEI-009 keeps all three simple: 550 grams in the hand, a non-stick face, a thermostat dial, and a 1 Year Service Warranty behind it.

Important Usage Instructions

• Set the thermostat to suit the garment care label — low for synthetics and silk, higher for cotton and linen.
• Wait for the iron to reach the chosen setting before starting, and test on an inside seam when a fabric is unfamiliar.
• Rest the iron on its heel during every pause and never leave it face down on cloth while switched on.
• Unplug it before you leave the ironing board and let it cool fully before putting it away.
• Clean the cooled non-stick plate with a soft damp cloth only — metal scrapers and abrasive powders will strip the coating.
